How It Started
Walter Wraith Company founder, Josh Myshak is a former competitive athlete who is 6’2” 260 lbs. (at times 275lbs.). Josh recognized in his late teens the overwhelming demand for menswear for the large North American body. Being tall with broad shoulders and a trim waistline relative to the rest of his body with large thighs; Josh understands the frustration of finding casual and formal clothes that have the right fit. His entire life Josh wore clothes that were either one size too small or one size too large, resulting in his dread for “dressing up”. Often his clothes would be slouchy, boxy, tight, pulling or restrictive and generally unflattering. The majority of trends and high fashion clothing just are not designed with his body type in mind. Motivated by the lack of options for men his size Josh set out to create something MORE. After years of trial and error he curated a product to this day is know as Walter Wraith.

Walter Wraith is a Canadian made brand, focusing on casual and business-casual fashion specifically designed for the North American body. Our designs offer additional room in the arms, shoulders, chest, back, seat and legs with a slightly tailored fit through the torso and lower leg to fit both the slimmer frames of international consumers from Japan and France to the more athletic frames of Norway and Germany. Walter Wraith was created to address the need to fit both a fashion forward consumer but also include consumers with a more athletic body, as we are about INCLUSION + ADDITION.
